QA Specialist
The web application being built for client to replace and enhance a legacy system using the latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud. The application will allow easier communication between the department while enhancing lines of business and looking forward to future changes and systems enhancements. Prospective initial deployment of the application is March 2025.
Candidates will work under the direction of the project’s Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code to implement system features and enhancements.
Required: Knowledge and Experience:
• Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion
• Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA)
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
• Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience using accessibility evaluation tools and frameworks (e.g., WAVE, Developer Tools, Accessibility Inspector)
• Experience using assistive technologies (e.g., VoiceOver, JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking, ZoomText)
Preferred: Applicants with the following qualifications will be preferred:
• Professional training in using assistive technologies
• Experience conducting usability tests that include participants with disabilities
